There are two categories of job-seekers: ones who are landing interviews, and ones who are not.

My question to you: Which category do you fall into?

Let’s break down what you should do to fall into the category of landing interviews on a weekly, and perhaps even daily basis.

‍

Now, one of the most important features on LinkedIn is the “Open To Work Feature”.

‍

How do you find this?

‍

If you go to your LinkedIn profile, it should be directly under the amount of followers you have, as seen below.

‍

(Note: If you haven’t added me on LinkedIn, please do!)

‍

Now, if you have this Open to Work on, what I want you to do is this…

‍

REMOVE IT FROM YOUR PROFILE.

‍

Okay, not forever, but temporarily.

‍

Just simply remove it, and then add it back on right after to Recruiters Only (If you still have a job, but if not, then you can keep the green circle. It’s all up to your preference!)

‍

The reason why you do this? So recruiters / hiring managers can be alerted that you turned on your Open to Work and look at your profile.

‍

And when they look at your profile? Add them back on LinkedIn, and see the interviews come your way!

‍

Oh wait, we’re not done yet ;) 

‍

Now, I’m going to teach you how to use LinkedIn’s powerful search features using the power of AI. 

‍

Simply go to this link and go to “I want an interview”.

‍

Pick your target position and company.

‍

Click generate, and then select “Go to LinkedIn”.

‍

You have now found ALL the recruiters and hiring managers that you can reach out to who are hiring for roles!

‍

‍

Craft a short but compelling message to connect with these individuals. Something like, "Hi [Name], I saw you're hiring for [role] from your profile. My current experience in [xyz] would be a great fit. Would love to connect!"

‍

Remember, opportunities often come when least expected. 

‍

So stay prepared, keep your LinkedIn up-to-date, and never stop networking. 

‍

You never know when the perfect role may find you!

‍
