â
So how can you make sure recruiters understand you?
â
First, focus on your key achievements and outcomes.Â
Take your biggest wins and wrap them into digestible, concrete figures.Â
â
Something like, "In my previous role, I took the initiative to implement a new project management system. It was a game-changer. It slashed delivery times by 20%. This led to improved client satisfaction and repeat business!â
â
Next, let's shine a light on your growth and progression.Â
Share the evolution of your role over time, the added responsibilities you managed, and the new skills you learned.Â
â
Try, "During my time at XYZ Company, I embraced the challenge of cross-functional project management. I led a team of five, overseeing the successful delivery of projects on time and within budget constraints."
â
And to give it that extra punch, remember the XYZ formula!
â
"I didn't just develop a sales plan - I strategized one that skyrocketed customer acquisition by 30% within the first year."
â
"I've made it a point to nurture and maintain key client relationships, which saw a 25% increase in repeat business."
â
"I conducted in-depth market research and competitor analysis, uncovering new market opportunities. This led to the successful launch of two product lines and a 15% revenue jump."
â
Armed with these examples, you're ready to present your story compellingly to any recruiter.Â
â
Now go get that dream job!
â
â
Is your job search like a hamster wheel?Â
â
Feel like youâre putting in tons of effort, but not getting anywhere?Â
â
That's exactly where Andrew found himself.Â
â
But he turned it around! And hereâs his story:
â
âBefore working with Wonsulting, my job search strategy was quantity over quality.Â
â
I sent out over hundreds of applications only to hear back from a select few or sometimes no one. Being a coding bootcamp grad, this was the mentality our instructors taught us since the competition was high for new grad roles. I was getting burnt out and tired of my hard work and efforts were going to waste.
â
Wonsulting really stepped up my job search skills and showed me techniques on how to stand out from other candidates and improve my response rate with recruiters. I was finally getting responses from recruiters at companies that I would usually get an automated rejection email from!
â
Three years later, Iâm still using the techniques I learned from Wonsulting and I finished my most recent job search with 6 offers and ended up at my dream company at Meta! I owe much of my success to Wonsulting and would highly recommend their courses and services to anyone in their job search!â

â
Jonathan recently visited Singapore and had a chance to meet up with our CX lead, Sher Ree!
â
â
He even saw some dinosaurs đ
Weâre pretty sure itâs a Singaporosaurus đŚ
â
But seriously, remember to take some time to care for yourself. It might seem like you donât have time, but in the end it can help you to be more productive and energized.
â
Hereâs hoping you can carve out a couple weeks this summer!
