Now, do you remember the last time you stopped scrolling because a LinkedIn profile stood out to you?
It was probably someone who effectively blended their professionalism with a touch of personality.
So try these three tips to do the same.
Make Your Best Headline
Your headline doesn't have to be a dry, job-specific title.
Use it as your attention-grabbing billboard!
For example you might try "Marketing Specialist | Passionate About Digital Strategy and Wildlife Photography."
This shows what you do and what you love - making you more relatable. Just consider leaving out your backyard wrestling operation.
Feature Your Passions
Do you have a side hustle or hobby you're proud of?
Maybe you have a YouTube channel,
or you bake the best cupcakes 🧁
Don't be shy! Sprinkle this authenticity throughout your profile. Link your YouTube channel in the featured section and mention your baking skills in your 'About Me' - it not only humanizes you, but it also creates memorable talking points.
Sharing is Important
Finally, the content you share should reflect your authenticity, passions, and interests. Don't limit yourself to industry articles.
And be sure to share updates that give a glimpse into your life or thoughts.
This does two things:
Now edit your LinkedIn into a curated, personal, relatable professional profile 😎

Wonsulting’s Co-Founder, Jerry, has monthly therapy sessions where he gets fresh perspectives on managing stress and work-life balance.
It’s like a monthly recalibration for his mind.
And here’s something useful he learned recently:
One key insight is that anxiety happens when you’re worried about the future. At work, these worries can accumulate over time, leading to burnout.
What's the remedy?
Together, Jerry and his therapist laid out all his daily tasks and categorized them into big, medium, or small stressors.
Then they brainstormed how to lighten the load, either by delegating or modifying the tasks. For smaller, less significant worries, they considered ways to minimize or altogether eliminate them.
They also made a list of activities that alleviate stress.
For Jerry, it's spending time with a friend, whereas his therapist finds solace in her garden.
The key is to identify what works for you and ensure you engage in at least one of those activities every day.
