Now, let’s get into it!

We not only just had Wonsulting’s 5th year anniversary this past week… but mine too!

‍

5 years went by so quickly.

‍

I remember being in the corporate world at companies like Snap, Google, and Cisco in my "dream industry". 

‍

It was only on January 20th, 2019 that I asked myself "Why aren't there more people who look like me and come from a similar background as me in this room?".

‍

I then said "let's change that".

‍

‍

That's how it all came about - exactly 5 years ago, it started with a LinkedIn post telling the world that I'd edit anyone's resume for free (which ~100 people signed up for, see my first comment below), a website that looked like a 5-year old made it, and a dream of "turning underdogs into winners": the focus being on those coming from non-target schools/non-traditional backgrounds to land them jobs.

As I reflected with our team yesterday during our Townhall, I realized all of the impact we've made worldwide:

💡Started with 50k followers in 2019, and now at 5 million followers total

💡Started with only doing workshops at hundreds of Educational Institutions, and expanded over the years to running a 1:1 consultation services company and releasing 4 products (with more on the way!)

💡Started with a side hustle, a passion project to help underserved communities but now into a main hustle with 30+ team members

It's crazy to think about...

‍

And all of this was only made possible by the strongest support system.

‍
